  18.     That does seem like one way of doing it, but having a low-memory
  19. solution would be much nicer.  That way, you don't lose memory having 
  20. the code to edit events in memory, just enough code to figure out when
  21. events are coming and to produce some kind of notification.  It's more
  22. efficient than loading the entire application.
